Women’s Physicians of Jacksonville is proud to sponsor the My 26.2 Within 26.2 event hosted by the Rotary Club of Bartram Trail. This unique marathon benefits The Betty Griffin Center which offers protection and quality services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The goal of the marathon is to raise funds to support the shelter’s needs, including a playground for young children.
Starting on October 1, 2020 participants of the marathon, including our very own staff, were encouraged to walk, run, jog or bike 26.2 miles within 26.2 days or 26.2 weeks.

About The Betty Griffin Center
Founded in 1990, the mission of the Betty Griffin Center is to offer protection and quality services for the victims of domestic violence and their minor children and/or victims of sexual assault and their families in St. Johns County, Florida through the operation of a shelter offering assistance, counseling and transitional support.
